With staining, it’s often possible to create a custom floor for less than the cost of standard carpeting, tile, or most types of high-end flooring materials. Price will vary depending on the complexity of the stain application, surface prep, size of the job, and the type of sealer used. Properly sealed and maintained stained concrete will last for decades and rarely needs replacement.

• Premium sealers with UV and abrasion resistance increases the per square foot price, however is more economical long term due to more durability, thicker build, retains gloss, and fewer or no recoats required over the life of the floor.
